How much does a tiled roof cost?

It depends on the size and pitch of the roof, the tiles you choose and access. We survey the roof for free and give you a fixed written price, so you know the exact cost before any work starts.

Concrete or clay tiles, which is better?

Concrete tiles are hard wearing and cost effective; clay holds its colour longer and suits period homes. We talk you through both on your survey so you can choose with the full picture.

How long does a tiled roof last?

A well laid tiled roof can last well over 100 years with only occasional maintenance, which is part of what makes it such good value over time.

Can you repair a tiled roof rather than replace it?

Yes. If the roof is otherwise sound we refit or replace slipped and broken tiles and re-bed ridges, rather than re-lay the whole roof.

Do you remove the old tiles and felt?

On a full re-roof we strip and dispose of the old tiles and underlay, fit fresh membrane and battens, then re-tile. All waste is taken away and included in the quote.

Can you match my existing tiles?

Yes, we do our best to match the colour and profile of your existing tiles so repairs and new sections blend in.
